If you take the unfurnished option the automatically put you in temp accommodation for a week or two even if your permanent place is ready so you have somewhere to sleep. It is furnished with a few things, and its usually a 2 bedroom apartment.
One thing i do suggest though is if you take the unfurnished option at least take the starter pack. Gives you sheets, some cutlary,a few pots and pans, a small snack pack in the fridge etc.. it helps.
You can get the furnishing allowance within a few days, you just have to apply for it and they will hand you a check that you cash at the Dnata building.
