I'd say go for top whack tools, snap-on or similar. 'Cos you'll save money in the long run for having tools with lifetime guarantees e.t.c. Same with avionics and test equipment. At my college we have all snap-on tools with a tag system for the tool stores.
I'd hate to think of the price for equipping out a part 145 with tools
