Well if you go on the ATP your bond is only £18,000 so its not that bad, at least you dont have to pay for your TR like you do at many other airlines. The bond doesnt really matter as long as you stay with the company for 3 years, which most people would for their first job. If they are not going to do that then they are not the people the company would want anyway !!

Also, the FO salary comes out at around £2,000 per month AFTER TAX which is good considering the company have just paid for TR. There is no deduction from your salary for the TR. I dont think the above is bad for a first job on a JAR 25 aircraft !!!


PROS -

TR paid for
Money not bad
MOST WEEKENDS OFF
A few nights a month off downroute
Variation of flying
People who work there
Much less days worked than with any other airline i know
Fast track promotion to Captain (18 months)
Very good location so you can drive to work and dont have to move
No passengers


CONS -

Flying at night, although you get that many days off inc weekends you dont mind.



As far as im concerned, the pros far out way the con. I fly for the company and really enjoy it.
