Presumably you think it was alright for EMX to take advantage of the open skies when they were starting all their routes.
As for Emerald I don't think they will be flying anywhere again soon and Arann seem to drop routes all the time. They probably thought(were told) EMX would fold but it seems to be resilient and give a good product these days.
What no one here knows (or is not telling ) is who is making money. EMX must be making money on LCY judging by the fares they are charging and the same goes for LPL up to now and as has been said by others in other threads FLYBE's Q400's are very economical so perhaps there is room for both to prosper

Hopefully someone at EMX will soon tell us what/who we will be flying with with if we book a flight now for the summer.
