DD, mostly agree but the remuneration is not 'fine', it is equal to or below a line pilots pay per month... You work hard for the money and have to put in some extra hours if you want to prepare a good LOS as the charts and plates are a mess and incomplete. You'll get 900 Dhms for transport allowance to get into the sims but this invariably means a second car at more expense. You'll get NO block credit for your initial training or subsequent office days or meetings which they get for free.
It is rewarding but ultimately TRI/TRE is good for the CV which with the way EK is going is the most positive thing I can say about the job.
