It is a personal choice, The work load is hard but rewarding. It's not for everyone but it does keep you on top of your game. If you give it a go and are willing to put the work in then you may well enjoy some of the challenges. The remuniration is fine and if you find it does not suit you then you can return to the line. Please do not under estimate the amount of effort that is required to be compitent and to continue to offer the best you can to develop guys where they may need your help. If you see it as an opportnity to gain status, or financial gain for little effort then it is not for you. You will be expected to put up with some !!!! and work hard with adiquate rewards but as always we never stop developing.
