Makes me think of my years 2 to 4 at EK. I listened to Captains telling me that things will only change for the worse. It will be a small increment, some fiddling with FTL's, some adjustments to the 'actual' pay method but in the end it won't amount to much and in effect will be a huge negative in terms of overall terms and conditions.
I used to think, wow, that's pretty negative, especially considering most of these guys were pretty decent chaps. Now I find in retrospect they were correct.
I expect no change of this policy in the future. Never come to this place expecting anything more than what has been shown to be in effect at the moment. Promises and expectations mean nothing here.
Having said that, I still like it here, just wish management could see that it would not take much to make this the most desirable job on the planet, and at very little cost and much reward to the company and Dubai as well.
