I have been flying for 55 years and in so many countries I can't even remember them.
I have never seen nor heard of anyone being run down by an airplane or any other vehicle on an airport.
So the safety risk is less by far than crossing a busy street and you don't need a hi vis vest for that.
But if some of you feel more secure having some ****** forcing you to wear one have at it.
