I'm certainly not getting misty-eyed over the demise of the 146. It's just a shame that the 195 is being kept out of GCI by local Island politics.
The difference between IOM and the Channel Islands with freight is that there is 4 x as much to JER and GCI as there is to IOM, and all the shippers want the first flight. LGWGCI regularly carries 800-900Kg.
