People, it's MUCH more common than you think. Humans are humans. Of course, I don't condone it for one minute, but I know of one (former) FA for a Middle Eastern carrier who regularly retired to one of the aft toilets with a cigarette and a (double vodka) orange juice after completing the service in a fully loaded Y class onboard a certain airline.

The stress of 192 screaming pax on a full load from DAC does take it's toll after a while!

All joking aside, I hope that the recently terminated FA, who is the subject of this thread, is sorted out. He or she must have had reasons (maybe most of us will not understand) for resorting to consuming alcohol on duty. Some people are addicted and need support. If this is the case here, I hope he/she gets it.
