I think this has been discussed before - but I cannot honestly see BA giving up the NCL-LHR service. Yes, it may not be the most profitable route in the world but it does generate money in other ways by feeding long haul flights with connecting pax. If these pax did not transit through LHR, then BA would effectively loose out on a considerable number of pax to AF, KL and EK?!

It is very interesting to see developments atlast from BE at NCL. I do however, have a couple of questions:
Will the aircraft be NCL based with based crew or are the 100 jobs just related to the increase in flights (swissport etc requiring more staff?)?
This new lounge of BE's - where on earth are they going to squeeze that in the terminal?
On a route such as ABZ, why only 1 daily service midday? Surely this route, more heavily utilised by riggers and business pax would suit 2 daily, am and pm? Or is this part of a long term plan for BE to compete with T3?
