Regarding the dinner get together, I am not suprised it has been cancelled. No one in my intermediate circle said they care about it. Local captains are just tired of hearing the same motivational/inspiring talk and jokes over and over again. The Indonesians are fed up with the prolonged and stalled
PR issue. I'm not sure if the cadet group took up the invitation after the suprise 'new year gift' last week. Everyone just doesn't care about any new year dinner. I don't think there was enough 'quorum' for it to be held at such a classy place. Or maybe we AirAsia pilots are just not used to going to those swanky Bangsar places Tony. We can't afford it. Not all of your employees own pubs or are descendents of pilots.
