Eagle21.........Im an FO for a major UK airline based at MAN and I landed the aircraft last night & taxied off the runway believe it or not. I think maybe you have been reading to many newspaper reports or watching TV where they seem suprised that Pilots (Captains) let FO's press buttons & touch things !
When I said airline SOPs I meant at FCA.
I also taxi the a/c, park and start the engines for your info and I don't give it much importance. Believe me I am very bussy flying to some very interesting destination to be watching TV.
