Airline SOPs do not allow this to happen , not even on the A320/1 where there is a tiller on the RH side . So the FO can land the plane but can't taxi the a/c after landing, this calls for a full stop on RWY and then radio for a tug
Eagle21.........Im an FO for a major UK airline based at MAN and I landed the aircraft last night & taxied off the runway believe it or not. I think maybe you have been reading to many newspaper reports or watching TV where they seem suprised that Pilots (Captains) let FO's press buttons & touch things !
