haha I knew somebody would say that! And yes I see your point, but with a slot delay is it fair to blame ATC itself or is that not just simply overcrowding of the system?
In the past I used to see them blame ATC when they had failed to get all the pax to the gate in time, the aircraft loses it's slot and so therefore they blamed ATC.
More to the point, if the airline are claiming to the public that they are the most punctual, is this not false advertising? I may be wrong but don't they just have to push back on time to class that as an 'on time departure?' Regardless who is to blame, if they arrive in destination 30 mins late, then thats not very punctual in my book.
