well. would go about in another way...
find a CRJ operator, get hold of their training department, and ask if you can do a validation of your typerating with them and at the same time the ME with them, you should be able to do that, since you have that many hours on type... then travel over to them right after you have done a sim test in the states, and you should be able to do just one training session: the school test and then the check....and this should see you with the type rating on top of the ME... And could very well be cheaper than a normail ME..at best try to find a company that uses sims located in the states.....
But you need to work it with the local CAA and get the ok from them... you will find this easier with some countries...
( i had a friend in a similar situation B727 rated, and he found the british caa most helpful)
