Hmmm, this may, on the face of it be true, however how much have these losses for Flybe reduced over this time? Flybe have also taken some one off exceptional costs into consideration over the past couple of years, such as writing down the cost of the 146's it owned. Flybe received a large sum of money from BA in account of the operating losses that were budgeted following the acquisition of BAConnect and so I wouldn't read to much into these figures if I were Mr Hart.
This type of comment might have had some truth 5yrs ago with British European but I can't help but feel that it would be somewhat foolish of him to anticipate this now!
