I believe that Flybe doing what they are with the GCI-LGW service is merely an excuse to pull off the route (if not out of the island) all together.
I'm puzzled, since when have privately owned companies needed excuses to allow them act on their commercial plans?
(I have no idea what plans any of the Guernsey airlines have).
