According to today's Guernsey Press Flybe have ruled out using the Q400 on the GCI-LGW service, saying it is "not an option". I belive Flybe could use the Q400 quite easily but with that add a GCI-LTN service and have the likes of Blue Islands or Cityjet operate GCI-LCY a minimum of twice a day in a Dornier. Obviously the problem with LCY is the ability to get hold of prime slots, but you never know, a well known Manx airline is supposedly on the way out
, so there could be some prime slots coming availiabe quite soon!
I believe that Flybe doing what they are with the GCI-LGW service is merely an excuse to pull off the route (if not out of the island) all together.
