Davey, You should go to the USA instead of Australia.
In Oz you will get your CPL but you cannot work unless you have a resident visa. So you will leave with 105 hours or so.
Go to the States on a J1visa and you can get you CPL and work for up to two years, you will build up about 1000 hours in the two years, therefore making you more employable when you get back home.
Have a think about it mate and do some research.
