Summer 2008 IT
I think Daza has summed it up pretty well.
I went online last week and certainly Thomas Cook/MyTravel have changed their schedule since before Christmas. However as Daza
has said several "W" pattern flights added such as Naples, Ibiza, SSH etc.
There is a TOM loss compared to 2008 and that is the 762 going down
to a 757 but that was always going to happen the way the LCC's were
eating into their business.
I understand EMA have lost another 757 in respect of TOM? Is it not now 2 x 738 and 1 x 757 for summer 2008 and I am sure both airports will face more cuts in 2009.
I was still predicting a passenger increase for 2008 prior to Lufthansa, Ryanair and Turkish announcements and although the 2008 IT reduction was bad it was not as drastic as first thought.
