As one of the P/T Destructors I must say that with very rare exception ATC do an excellent job in coordinating local GA with commercial traffic. If anything, albeit anecdtotaly, coordination has improved over recent months, with controllers being much more relaxed about "expedited departures" with commercials established. Maybe their new tower with improved view has helped.
