My instructor said that the max xwind speed for a safe landing in a 152 was 12.5 kts
I've done 14kts plus gusts in a 152.
With an instructor.
The first and third landings were OK ...
... but the second one frightened the instructor.
(That's why I prefer floatplanes. No crosswinds - just land into wind.)
