There is a belief here that Newcastle is too small and it's population only interested in frying on a beach.
Good point, the catchment area for NCL is huge really. MNE and LBA are too small to travel anywhere far and the roadlinks to NCL airport are much better. It seems a shame people are still travelling to MAN, LHR and LGW to go off to another continent (with the exception of Emirates of course).
PS. Bet they were pleased to be using a remote stand now that work is being carried out on stand 11 !!
