Quite a few FR destinations would work from NCL, thinking of the likes of Madrid, Berlin, Shannon, Frankfurt are four that spring to mind. As an outsider the Teneriffe South would also work
Well unfortunately I disagree ! possibly one OR other of the Geman destinations SXF or FRA could justify the traffic, the others I seriously doubt. These routes have presumably been considered by EZY & LS? in past & taken no further. Now you are suggesting that RYR could obtain high enough LF's on higher capacity 738's to break even. Where does SNN fit into anyone's business plan?, and MAD although it must poll the highest in times it has been suggested on this forum, is probably also a non starter. MAD has an impressive airport with excellent latin connections, but is it really high profile enough on the tourist map, particularly if going up against EZY at BCN for leisure pax?
TFS is an intersting one, this route has soaked up considerable extra capacity thrown at it, whilst the fare prices have on the whole remained constantly high. Presumably this is down to large sector legnth, and as such much more sensitive to lower fares & LF's - the sort of route where an airline could get into trouble if there proved to be over capacity, so why would RYR even consider taking on all and sundry on a NCL-TFS ?
