hey 'airmed' I remember the 2 x wheels up ldg's by the Dept @ MNG in their shinny new G1000's, was comforting to know that even they where human !
I remember hearing somewhere that a certain small corporate jet nearly did the same thing at AV some years ago with a Dept driver onboard doing testing of some nature. I believe they both scratched their heads & wondered why the beast was coming in like a rocket with the pwr at flight idle!
The result was a 'shortened' version of an antenna on the bottom of the plane, well something like that anyway !
'Bulldog 248' loved that story of the noisy buggers at the base of MB twr !
