NCL Growth
BE have been 'on' and 'off' for a year now on the NCL base issue and don't know what they are playing at remember the front page on the local rag NOv 06 regarding a 4 aircraft base. Nothing came of this despite BE breaking the story.
BE would, in my opinion, be a good addition to based airlines at NCL as it would give the NE the possibility of some routes that wont work with bigger aircraft.
On the Ryanair front, I am not their biggest fan but it would give us the desired growth in numbers and routes. Quite a few FR destinations would work from NCL, thinking of the likes of Madrid, Berlin, Shannon, Frankfurt are four that spring to mind. As an outsider the Teneriffe South would also work given the prices they charge from elsewhere in the UK to TFS although this would mean LS been forced off the route. However given the recent dumping of Milan by FR think that a base from them is unlikley.
