CAA Stats(provisional)
Again this month some stats are missing as they are provisional(BRS and CWL). I would expect about 20,000 to be added from these routes which should bring the reduction to just over 2% ish.
Bad enough, so this makes Nov and Dec the first two months for years to record a decline in pax nos at NCL. But considering there is one less easyjet aircraft based and less charters it could be much worse.
Dubai only slightly up on November, expected more with the Christmas period, but its still early days yet.
I believe we will see much greater decline in numbers throughout the summer. One of the big travel agents reckons there will be about 350000 less seats from NCL this coming summer(not sure if thats just charter?)
Yes many other regions are seeing massive growth with NCL being left behind. Perhaps a bit of stimulation is needed like for example Ryanair. I still believe there is despite the economic downturn untapped markets out there if the package is right.
