Virgin Atlantic is a business and not some big hoolie in the sky. Things weren't good before 9/11 and since then the belt has got even tighter. Everyone has to knuckle down and get on with the job I'm afraid. How do management keep the staff happy - by caving into every single demand? It's just not possible.
