"Not only that but different airlines have different policies!"
And airports. I'm just back from my hols and bought a bottle of water airside at NCL which I was keeping for the long haul out of AMS. I remained airside in transit at AMS and they took it off me going to the gate. If it was ok for the first flight and it was still in a sealed plastic bottle, why should it not be allowed on the second flight.
If only they were so keen to get the luggage right. Yet again my case didn't make it to Bangkok. Waiting at the belts at NCL on my return I noticed a large group of people at the luggage irregularity stand, presumably from the EK flight. Does anyone know if there is any sort of regular problem with bags out of NCL getting transfered at DXB?
