Doh...why not take the things that set the scanner off before you get there? Then maybe the passengers won't get so frustrated at the p!llock wearing a staff badge who causes the delay.

Oh, GREAT idea; what makes you think that the businesses on the airport can afford to pay for this? The 2 handling companies are not profitable as it is so why not add to their overheads; it's not a business after all, it's for the convenience of staff. Or are you prepared to give up any pay award for the next few years to pay for this?
