Talking of secruity, will there be a dedicated staff channel by S08?
Since the systems have been improved and I now 'beep' almost every time I go through (even though I'm not wearing or carrying anything extra than I was before) it now seems to take longer and the cues bigger.
Plus I'm getting fed up with the disgruntled looks from passengers as you 'cut in front' and make your appologies.
I know there is the security gate by the engineering blocks but it's hardly convienient for staff when their airline offices are in the terminal and their aircraft is on a pier.
Couldn't the airport fund the extra costs from running a staff security lane by charging an extra % to all the businesses and airlines at the airport on based on the no. of it's employees who require to go airside??
