Careful, There's a Lawyer about
Heard today that some ****ing lawyer, (and it would have to be a ****ing lawyer, wouldn't it - for lawyer, read parasite) sued an internet company for damages after he was allegedly 'libeled' on their web site.
He settled, surprise surprise, out of court for £15,000 plus legal costs of £235,000!!!? Wanna bet that he represented himself?
Give me a ****ing break!! Does everything that happens in the bloody USA HAVE to happen here in the UK. Surely we can avoid inheriting some of their stupider habits, like having more lawyers than they can kill in one sitting.
I believe it was Shakespeare who first pointed out that: 'if you want justice, first kill all the lawyers'. Sounds like good advice to me.
Anyway, I guess that a precedent has been set by a headcase with a law degree and a chip on his shoulder, so I guess we can expect the moderators to get ever so slightly more careful about what we can post. Let's be careful out there.
