"If you have a FI rating why would a club or school be concerned about which licence you have?" Good question, and thats what I'm thinking, but I'm also wondering if it can cause conflict with other FI's who are on the payroll. So based on that issue, it makes me think, would a flying club or school say no to your offer of wanting to volunteer your services on a weekend.
