I've been told that the AOA is actually not allowed to approach pilots, but that YOU need to approach the AOA. However, to answer the comment about CX not giving out new-hire names, we all get mailboxes on day one that are in order of hiring.....it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out. I know there is a desire for some to join the AOA, but there has been no real incentive to do it. Having come from an airline where it was 100% union and seeing how it didn't do anything, it makes it tough to justify joining another union that is voluntary where the company still does what they choose anyway. Please someone prove me wrong. Seriously.
