America West senior management have just announced that effective immediately, they will accept a 25% pay reduction to help insure the companies' survival.
The pilots' were asked to accept an 8% reduction in pay and flying hours to help keep all of them employed and to avoid future layoffs.
The pilots response was .....NO!
So, the company announced that 200 would be furloughed now with more possible later, depending on traffic.
So much for supporting "the brothers" in these difficult times.
