EZY will be basing aircraft at MAN as a result of their inheriting the GB Airways route network, rather than any other motive at present.
Sorry don't agree. The GB takeover was a good excuse fo EZY to look at MAN again bearing in mind that they put a big programme in for MAN a couple of years ago which eventually never happened, allegedly because of the agreement with LPL barred them from doing so. This time they have managed to sort it out.
And MAN have not been bending over backwards to get a deal at any cost - the Airport's Commercial Director has said this deal has taken a long time to sort out as it had to be right for the airline AND the airport.
