that rumour is correct as far as i can make out and i have good sources. as for the fares, im not to sure if they will stay the same or be reduced. i would imagine they would stay the same though. not to sure if whoosh would be able to survive with a smaller aircraft, thats if they get back off the ground again(pardon the pun). some of the passenger figures are ideal for the aircraft they are set to be getting, again, only problem being hold baggage space. lets face it though, how can an airline expect to survive with only one aircraft! perfect example being whoosh....flight goes tech, no additional aircraft to draft in, passengers stranded, flights cancelled, wait for parts bing delivered then fitted and then, worst case scenario, hiring a plane from another airline for an extra additional expense. summary:an airline cannot survive with one aircraft!
