The A330 and A340 fleets are different, in terms of flight deck? I always assumed that the A330 pilots would also fly the A340, and vice-versa. What's the reason for QR keeping them as "seperate" fleets? (Excuse my ignorance if I have just asked a stupid question, but it is a genuine question).In fact, I think a German friend of mine who works for LH flies the A321, A330 and A340, if I understood him correctly! Could this be possible, or am I hallucinating?
I understand the final A300 passenger aircraft will leave the fleet in June 2008 - what will happen, therefore, to all the A300 flight-deck crew?
Some of us will miss the A300........................
