You can of course point out your smugness and
you may be right. But do we know that? Lord Robertson said that Defence spending should go up to 3% of GDP. There have been a few other articles in the press. It hasn't gone away just yet. It may take a while for anything concrete to come out of their Lordships broadside.
Sadly, I think that you will be proved right in the end; the 2 Browns will just ignore it and it will fade away.
