http://www.bharat-rakshak.com/NAVY/Harrier.html) This is about 50% (as quoted in the first post by the way)-so hardly "very low" but not necessarily sky high DEPENDING on the type of flying they indulge in. If its all weather, day and night ship ops-fair enough. If its less operational then maybe not. I have no idea what the RN stats are (except my one!!) but it may be difficult to compare like with like. Given that these are pretty old airframes relying on one Peggie in hot and humid conditions, I'm pleasantly surprised it isn't higher.
