only 18month bond at Chook and NSN and they pay more. You've also got Vincents, Air National, and Airwork-more time off and more money and they need captains
I heard a few newbies resigned to go do that Air India 777 thing and big cheese Wayne made them sign an agreement that they'd pay $1600/month back for their bond - and "No' the bond isn't pro rata from when you start. It drops $10k only on completion of a complete year worked.
The poor lads also got a phone call from Big Brother saying if they didn't sign the agreement then AirNZ would not do the 777 rating for them as planned.
