I guess, obviously and unfortunately AERLINGUS is playing a bad game with all the candidates (both permanent and contract) who were willing to jump in and showed interest "to help them" with their recruting problem for the BFS base.

behaviour. Well, may be from any lousy LCC but not from a well recognized, established international carrier like AERLINGUS with a good reputation worldwide
I am quite heavily disappointed the way the Irish Flag Carrier presently treats it's interested candidates.
But may be they/we were used as pressurizing medium only.
