Let us appreciate the fact that they re-started the command training for 8 F/Os. they would also like to re-start command on A330 as well and increase numbers to 6 to 8 per month (both A320/A330 together) & increase number of direct enry F/O recruitment. Let us give due recognition to management when they do something good for us.
A320 rostering is absolutely chaos. It is beyond his depth. A340 looks good because it is a small fleet/crew strength, fixed routes, less headache and very easy to manage. I wish (for example) the A330 avoid scheduling pilots arriving from far east in morning and asking to operate to europe in the night after minimum rest, otherwise they do a reasonably good job.
