1. They are sorting out the tax issue and this will be implemented in March (new Tax Year).

2. Salaries are higher than most and going up again.

3. Accomodation is always very good (some companies expect crew to share rooms).

4. ET pays DG, CRM, renewals and does not expect crew to pay for ratings (think Solenta).

5. There is a fleet of three BAE146, plus EMB120's arriving, and talk of even more prospects at the company.

6. Office politics has quitened down considerably with the departure of one or two people at the office.

7. The crew on the whole are a great bunch - and those who create friction eventually work themselves out anyway.

8. ET are paying 13th cheques this year and those on contract over Xmas/New Year's are expected to receive an additional bonus too.

9. Full-time contrators are paid a "retainer" amount when they are off duty from contracts, with the choice (not demand) to fly on charter when home for additional salary plus allowance.

10. Co-pilots on charter earn more than your typical airline co-jo salary - for working a lot less.

Every company has its own problems. It's very easy to always point at the faults. I think though that it is also pretty short-sighted to not consider the positives and weigh them up against what you see as the negatives.
ET are doing well, the crew are looked after. And still it's easy to point fingers whilst sitting on the fence.
They have come along this past year quite considerably.
