What does the contract about the bonding if the company is letting you go?
If the contract only says that you have to pay up in case YOU go, then don't pay anything. If the contract says that you have to pay in case they let you go, I can't imagine it to be a legal contract.
Do not pay. You are in a good seat since you haven't payed yet. THEY will have to bring YOU to court. And if they realize that they are not going to win a legal battle, they will let you go. If this company is within the EU or any other country complying with the EU labourlaws (is Norway so?) they will most likely not win this. If you really have to go to court, make sure you get a good lawyer that knows his business.
My piece of advice.
