You know nothing of my love of aviation. I would surmise that I have more time checking the oil on my aircraft then you have in the air.
My point is that if you are going to engage in a profession. You should strive to make as much money doing it as you can. That should be a required mantra of every pilot who calls themselves a pro. Do you think a CEO approaches a companies board and suggests that they will run the company for less salary then the previous CEO? The answer is a resounding "NO".
If you like airplanes then buy one. Otherwise leave the big jet handling to those who know how much the job is worth.
It's time to stop discounting our services.
