ACS Management
Pretty right Black Panther, I worked in Line Maint SYD for 40 years (refuse to call it ACS and thank God I am retired).
The joke is that old school managers right back to Gunner, The Neck and The Jet Cadet, etc didn't have an MBA or any other form of tertiary education they relied on the college of life, funnily enough they were very much smarter in how they managed the operation.
The troops felt like they were at home when they were at work (gee, we even had morale) and management actually saw customers and helping competitors as a valuable offset.
You know they will choke on their buzzwords and WTF is a stakeholder doing a lap and what does management bring to intelligent space when they come bearing an empty cranium?
What can these twits with zero Line experience possibly contribute to the future other than absolute chaos. Line Maint is not a "process" it is the blood of the airline.
Once this hubris dies down and a new broom arrives to "get engineering back on it's feet" they will find that the previous regime has been very successful in killing off all of Arthur Bairds legacy, goodwill and the corps of experience will be but a distant memory.
The deliberate dismantling of all things good about Line & Major Maint will be long lamented by those who can actually see past the current financial year.
