The drop in traffic is inevitable, clearly saturation point has been reached, the region does not have a large enough catchment area to sustain these levels, the airport used to appeal to scottish pax, but now there is no real reason for them to travel down as EDI and GLA are well served, also take away the novelty factor of the likes of SXF and other city break destinations then traffic will drop, i think its for this reason Ryanair will not increase their ops out of NCL as supply outstrips demand.
