It's just pants, saw it again, and it's still pants, and depressing into the bargain..
Here's my version, "working Day"
Dark airfield, cheery cockney sparrow wrench monkey up at sparrow-fart, making sure the kit works, cheery Flight Sgt making his lads Tea, pampered lords of the air arrive and committ aviation with lots of Top gun stuff, or ditto for an Albert crew dropping the goodies to the people who need it, or a Sea King/Puma crew, rescuing that lone Trans-atlantic lilo paddler. Punchline.."Do you want another ordinary working day?"
Above all..... exciting.... in colour and loads of noise. I want to be blown away by my RAF advertising. If they spent the money, and got the Top Gun director (forgotten his name) to do one, they'd have to nail recruitment offices doors shut.
And yes, the Army ones are better, because we show the punters what they want to see, Guns, Guns and even more Guns
